Instagram Photos Will No Longer Appear In Twitter Streams At All

Instagram photos pushed to Twitter just show a white space in the Tweet linking to the web-version of the photo on the Instagram-website. Twitter obviously is working on the implementation of an Instagram-like service itself.

After people complaining he was difficult to work with, the founder has been sidelined – and Dick Costolo is obviously strengthening his position as CEO.

Dorsey has initially been frozen out by co-founders Williams and Stone and came back after they have been sidelined several years ago…. sounds like a tech-version of “Dynasty”.

More than 150 million tweets about the Olympic Games and athletes like Tom daily adding more than a million followers within the past 6 weeks… But will people find it still interesting during training seasons? Study finds world leaders take to Twitter, but new ‘Twiplomacy’ has its limits

Almost two thirds of the 193 U.N. member governments are on Twitter. The 264 Twitter accounts of heads of state and government have been analysed now: Just about 30 seem to have ever done any own tweet. Most-followed account is @BarackObama (17,8 million followers total / 76 president´s peers and other governments). His account follows only Norwegian Prime Minister Stoltenberg and Russian Prime Minister Medvedev.
