Microsoft: Bing Maps’ High-Res Imagery Will Cover All The U.S. And Europe By The End Of The Year

With 165 terabytes of new data, the Bing imagery Technologies group completed its mission to cover the U.S. – and the company expects to hit the same milestone for Europe this fall. The new imagery will be published by the end of 2012.

Microsoft Introduces a Challenger to the iPad

Now it´s official: “Surface” is going to launch in two versions and will include a detachable keyboard. The professional version obviously will be positioned against ultrabooks and be sold at around USD 1000,-.

I am quite curious about any future “X-box / second screen” strategy….

Microsoft Is Expected to Introduce a Tablet

Rumors are extending that MS will introduce a new tablet today. The joint-venture with Barnes & Nobles is pointing into a certain direction…. In the meantime, Apple is making USD 6,59 bn per quarter with the iPad only – whilst Windows still remains Microsoft´s cash-cow with USD 4,6 bn per quarter.
