The International Telecommunication Union has released its latest global annual ICT-report again including some interesting figures and stats, like:
– There will be a total of 6,8 billion mobile cellular subscriptions by the end of this year – almost as many as there are people on this planet
– An estimated 2,7 billion people will be connected to the internet
– About a third of the young population on this planet are now so-called “digital natives”
