USD 1,16 billion (!) for Microsoft´s co-founder Paul Allen´s investment firm (from which Amazon was renting the office-space so far) make this the biggest commercial real estate deal so far this year within the U.S. The 11 buildings in Seattle´s South Lake Union area are comprising of a total of 100.000 square feet (11.000 sq.metres) of office-space.
